"Damn homework," Ben muttered under his breathe straing down at his blank parchment. How was he supposed to know who the first person to use transfiguration after the inventor and what did he transfigure in a two feet long parchment? Many in his situation would use a book, but Ben had never used a book in his life and he wasn't going to start unless he had to save his families' lives. If not then there was no way to get him to open up a book and read!
He thought of all the things he could be doing at the moment. Talking to girls, playing the guitar, writing another song, singing, talking to girls. Why was homework even invented? Isn't it against the law to make kids do so much work? He slammed his head on the table that he was sitting at. To hell with homework! He lifted his head up when he heard the librarian shush him accompanied with glares from people who were working. He shoved his things off the table and onto the floor. At the moment he didn't care about homework, not even an ounce.
He leaned back in his chair, his eyes closed and his head facing up at the ceiling. If he hadn't acted up in class he wouldn't have homework like everyone else. "I hate myself!" He mumbled.

Lauren tried to concentrate on her work but into the Study Hall, holding her last night's homework, she was done with it and was hoping to find a Professor to check it. She looked around the place and everyone was working but Ben Potter who had his things all over the floor. She smiled at him reassuringly, she hadn't heard what he said clearly before because she was in deep concentration then. Their parents knew each other thus making them know each other, too. Lauren grabbed at all her belongings and stood up clumsily and walked at a fast pace towards him.
Hearing his mumble, Lauren sighed and chose not to hear it, she took a seat right beside him and glanced at his work, "You have homework from Transfigurations?" She asked him quizzically then looked at her own work, it was written all over and most likely going to get an average grade, maybe not as good as what her brother Jordan would get, "You can find a way out of it, you know." She said thoughtfully.
Her idea had worked for her before and was quite convincing but she always had many options before talking about any of them. Another thought came up in her mind, why did he get homework from that class, she hadn't but then again, they had an age diffrence.

He practically fell out of his chair at the sound of a way out of homework. "Tell me! I need a way out of homework!" She exclaimed acting like a little boy begging for a toy. He went on two knees and had his hands together in a pleading manner. He said in a desperate voice, "Please! I need a way out! I hate homework."
His hair fell over his eyes as he looked up at her his eyes showing a look of plead. He hated homework with a passion and would give anything to not have to do it. Well, not everything, but mostly. It took awhile for him to realize how he probably looked at the moment. He quickly stood up and got a hold of himself again. "Please," he said with a small grin.

Lauren laughed as she watched Ben plea for a way out of homework, she was about to say, 'Get up off the floor' but he had gotten up already and she found to no reason to say it at all, "Well, it's simple, you can just copy off of someone's using by using this spell I knew and just slab it on to your paper." She suggested, she didn't know the exact words but she wrote it down on one of her notebook covers. She filed through her papers and found a brown leather-binded book with had lots of writing all over it's cover.
Lauren looked around for the right word, "I wrote the spell in silver but the silver is slowly fading away." She said as she scanned the book then found it, and then whispered, looking around quickly, "Found it... it's descriptio."
